On February 1, 2022, Walter T. Klenz informed Columbia Sportswear Company (the “Company”) of his decision not to stand for re-election to the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) when his term expires at the Company’s 2022 Annual Shareholders’ Meeting. Mr. Klenz, a director of the Company since 2000, will continue to serve as a member of the Board and will maintain his committee memberships until the Company's 2022 Annual Shareholders’ Meeting. Mr. Klenz’s decision not to stand for re-election was not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices.
